The Pearl River Project

Building 100

Manufacturing, Lab and Office Space

100 Complex, the largest building on the Pearl River Campus, houses the main consumer manufacturing and packaging activities on campus, focused on the production and distribution of the Centrum line of vitamins. The first floor of Building 100 consists largely of warehouse space and inbound/outbound activities, including many receiving doors located in the rear of the building. The warehouse space is temperature and humidity controlled and is equipped to handle 1200 pallet positions. The space is SAP equipped with RF scanners.

The second through fifth floors consist of vertically integrated GMP activities involved in Centrum production and distribution. The second and third floors house packaging activities, which include fillers, labelers, cartoners, and case packaging. Pfizer has invested $10 million into the packaging operations in Building 100 over the past five years, representing a substantial capital investment into its operations at the site. The GMP manufacturing space on the third, fourth, and fifth floors partially consists of six weigh booths and machinery including five Fette high-speed single layer presses, twelve Stokes presses, and two continuous coaters.
